Randy Chi Smith

Randy Chi Smith, 72, of La Monte, MO, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. He was born on September 24, 1953, in Sedalia the son of Chi Albert Smith who preceded him death and Nancy Lee (Eaton) Smith, who resides in Sedalia.

He was united in marriage on September 16, 2004, to Deborah Smith, who resides in South Dakota.

In addition to his mother, Randy is survived by a son, Zach Smith of Sedalia; and a daughter, Chianna (Pepper) Smith of Sedalia; a granddaughter, Madalyn Smith; great-granddaughter, Lola Smith; a brother, Scott Smith of Sedalia; and two nieces, Amy Smith and Kelli Wagenknecht.

In addition to his father, Randy was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Smith; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Monnie Smith; and maternal grandparents, M.L. Eaton and Sammy Brown.

A celebration of life gathering with family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2025, at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
