Obituary For Robert "Bob" Richard Robinson

Robert "Bob" Richard Robinson, 74, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at his home in Sedalia. He was born on January 20, 1949, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Robert and Corinne Robinson, who preceded him in death.

On November 27, 1971, in St. Louis, MO, he was united in marriage to Barbara, who resides in the home.

Bob graduated from Ritenour High School in St. Louis, MO. From there, he went on to play football at Central Missouri State University, where they won the Pecan Bowl in 1970. He graduated with a bachelor of science in education in industrial technology. He taught and coached football, wrestling, and track in Rich Hill, Cass Midway, Raymore-Peculiar, and Piper High School. Then, he finished his career at Shawnee Mission North. Bob loved boating and the Lake of the Ozarks. He was also a serious Harley rider. He and his wife toured the country on their Harleys. He enjoyed playing in a pool league, spending time watching T.V., especially K.U. Basketball, reading western novels, smoking a good cigar, and spending time with his wife, Barbara. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, Barbara, Bob is survived by one son, Chad Allan Robinson (Heather); one daughter, Kelly Corinne Hieronymus (Brett); nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four nephews; two nieces, and many great-nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law, Jeff Stevens (Mendy).

Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Robinson (Ferne).

A celebration of life will be held this fall at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
