Robert William Mullineaux Jr., 65, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. He was born on September 12, 1959, in Sedalia, the son of Robert William Mullineaux Sr., who preceded him in death, and Evelyn M. (Fry) Mullineaux, who survives and resides in Sweet Springs, MO.
On March 31, 2007, in Dresden, MO, he was united in marriage to Amy Kathleen Rodenberg, who survives at their home.
Bob was a proud graduate of Sweet Springs High School, Class of 1977. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving honorably from 1977 to 1980 and was stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood. After his military service, Bob began working at Rival Manufacturing in Sweet Springs. He later joined Hayes Wheels (now Maxion Wheels) in Sedalia, where he dedicated 36 years of hard work before retiring.
A devoted Christian, Bob lived his life with faith at the forefront. He was Baptized at First Baptist Church, Sedalia, when he was 30 years old and was a Royal Ambassador Leader. He was most recently attending Life Pointe Church, Sedalia. Bob was known for his generosity, his love for his family, and his willingness to help anyone in need. He cherished time with family and friends and was especially proud of his children and grandchildren.
Bob enjoyed playing golf and cornhole, and he was a passionate fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. He was also well-known for his cooking skills, particularly his love of barbecuing and preparing meals for gatherings - especially during the holidays.
In addition to his wife and mother, Bob is survived by four children: Chris Hatfield (Holly), Madalyn Cramer (Ryan), Thomas Graff, and Abigail Spilker (Isaac), all of Sedalia; three grandchildren: Jacob, Jennie, and Lily; one sister, Elizabeth Ann Plummer (Richard) of Sweet Springs, MO; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sr.; one brother, David Eugene Mullineaux; two sisters, Terry Lee Mullineaux and infant sister Gerry Lee Mullineaux, and a niece, Lynn Renee Plummer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Rea Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Roger Sherman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia, with full military honors conducted by the United States Army and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.
Pallbearers will be Jason Mullineaux, Rodney Heaper, Ryan Cramer, Isaac Spilker, Chris Hatfield, and Thomas Graff.
Honorary bearers include Anthony Salmons, Jamie Cramer, John Schmidt, Roger Pettis, and Lynn Plummer.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
