Robert Roy Woods

On Friday, 12 August 2022, Robert (Bob) Woods, loving husband and father of five, passed away at the age of 80.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Eldon and Regina Woods, and his sister Anita. After graduating from Lexington High School, Bob joined the U.S. Navy Seabees, where he proudly served for 25 years.

Bob was a devoted and loving husband and dad. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne, of the home and five children; Jennifer Thull of Denver, CO, Melissa Hafford of Elizabeth City, NC, Caryn Huber of Boonville, MO, Michael (Amy) Woods of Lexington, MO, and Robin (Roger) Svendsen of Vermillion, SD, and many grand and great-grandchildren.

A private service with military honors will be held at the Higginsville Veterans Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Bob can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
