Rona Stremmel

Rona Elizabeth (Woolridge) Stremmel, 69, of Sedalia passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. She was born on August 6, 1947 in Moberly, MO the daughter of James Woolridge, who preceded her in death and Virena (Webb) Woolridge, who resides in Sedalia.

Rona worked at Wilson's in Marshall, Rival Manufacturing in Sedalia, North 65 Cafe as a cook, and Leesons Manufacturing. She enjoyed cooking, reading, crocheting, word search puzzles, sitting outside with family and friends, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she is also survived by two sons, Robbie Stremmel (Barbara) of Cole Camp and Ronald Stremmel, Jr. of Sedalia; a daughter, Rolonda Stremmel of Sedalia; two granddaughters, Brittany and Makala Baker; seven great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jay McMillin officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dakota Hill, Chris Kranz, Stephen Galliher, Ebby Norman, Glenva Briggs, and Alana Reese.
