Ronald "Ron" Lucian Dalton, 89, of Marshall, MO, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at the Living Center, in Marshall, Missouri. He was born on March 12, 1935, in Phoenix, AZ the son of Lucian R. Dalton and Deloice Violet (Allen) Dalton, who preceded him in death.

Ron served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, electronics, and teaching fire alarm code.

Ron is survived by a son, Richard Dalton, of Reno, NV; three daughters, Lori Hopper (Mike) of Palmdale, CA and Cole Dalton (Caroline) of Pasadena, CA, and Jean Ellingen of Minneapolis, MN; a step-son, James Tallman of Lake Havasu, AZ; a niece, Melody Sloma of Marshall, MO; a nephew, Richard Buckner of Marshall, MO; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Dietz Whitehorn.

Ron's wishes were to be cremated and no services to be held.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
