Ronald L. Warren, 74, of Green Ridge, Missouri, passed away on September 23, 2026, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center in Sedalia. He was born on June 6, 1952, in Sedalia, Missouri, the son of Stanley and Maxine (Brownfield) Warren, who preceded him in death.

On January 7, 1972, in Green Ridge, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Frances E. Warren, who preceded him in death on September 24, 2017.

Ronnie graduated from Green Ridge High School with the class of 1970. He began his career at Ray's Skelly Service Station before working for the Missouri Pacific Railroad, eventually retiring from Union Pacific Railroad. For a short time, he also operated Warren's Garage in Green Ridge. Ronnie had a lifelong passion for cars - he loved working on and rebuilding them, and enjoyed building motors for the truck pulls. He was an avid NASCAR fan and rarely missed his grandkids' sporting events. Ronnie also enjoyed watching Survivor and Big Brother each week. He was a devoted supporter of the Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Missouri Tigers. In his younger years, he loved hunting and fishing. Ronnie was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to everything he did.

Ronnie is survived by his daughter Kim and Bobby Brown of Green Ridge, MO; grandchildren, Caleb Brown (Maddie) of North Platte, NE, Madison Brown (Jake) of Windsor, MO, and Carson Brown of Sedalia, MO; brother, Don Warren (Lorretta) of De Soto, MO; special friend, Roy Martin of Green Ridge, MO, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO.

The visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

The burial will be held at Green Ridge Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Green Ridge School District for student needs, in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
