Ruby Faye Templeton

Ruby Faye Templeton, 91, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at her home in Sedalia. She was born on October 10, 1932, in Warsaw, MO, daughter of Orval and Eva William Quigley, who preceded him in death.

On January 10, 1951, in Harrison, AR, she was united in marriage to Homer Pete Templeton, who preceded her in death on August 19, 2006.

Ruby loved spending time with her family. Her favorite job was working at Tyson's. She made a lot of friends there, and several still to this day. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving, because she got to host and spend the day with the ones she loved. She loved mothers day, receiving lots of flowers. She loved going to the casinos with her sisters.

Ruby is survived by seven children, Barbara "Bobbi" Russell and her husband John, Jodi Coley, Janice Sleeper and her partner, John Roberts, Linda Cornwall, Sharon Anderson, Terry Mitchell, and Homer Timothy Templeton and his wife Johnnie; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, Ruby is preceded in death by her three sisters, Betty, Maudie, and Shirley.

The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
