Sam L. Branstetter, 81, of Ionia, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center, in Sedalia, Missouri.

The family will announce a celebration of life gathering at a later date.

Sam's body was donated to the anatomical gift of body program at A.T. Still University, Kirksville, Missouri.

Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
