Sara Beth Shireman

Sara Beth Shireman, 44, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at her home. She was born on January 20, 1980,in Sedalia, daughter of Richard Shireman, who resides in Sedalia and Janice (Newland) Shireman, who preceded her in death.

Sara was a 1998 graduate of Northwest High School in Hughesville, MO. She graduate from State Fair Community College with an LPN Degree. After graduating from college, she worked at Bothwell Regional Health Center and later at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center. She loved going to Branson on family trips. Sara was a avid outdoorsman with her passion being fishing. She loved the beach, swimming, and going to garage sales. Sara's favorite color was blue and her favorite animal was monkeys. Sara especially loved her family and spending time with them.

Sara always had a positive attitude and was a great inspiration to her children.

In addition to her father, Sara is survived by a son, Mason Shireman of Sedalia and a daughter, Caliann Hickey of Sedalia; A brother, Kevin Shireman (Lora) of La Monte; three nephews, Taylor, Wyatt, and Drake.

In addition to her mother, Sara was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, J.W. and Betty Lou Newland and her paternal grandparents, Archie and Nellie Shireman.

A celebration of life gathering will be held by the family at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Richard Shireman to be used for Sara's children's college fund in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
