Sarah Kathryn Goalder

Sarah Kathryn Goalder, 88, of Sedalia passed away on June 23, 2026, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Missouri. She was born on February 2, 1938 in Sedalia, Missouri the daughter of John Riley Ransdell and Mabel Elizabeth (Busker) Ransdell, who preceded her in death.

On January 10, 1954 in Fresno, CA, she was united in marriage to Kenneth D. Goalder, who preceded her in death on March 25, 2020.

Sarah is survived by a sister, four children, seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Sarah was preceded in death by five sisters, two brothers, her son, and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Major, Jeff Goalder, Chris Castiglia, Michael Castiglia, Joshua Castiglia, Trae Major, Jason Allerite.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Disabled American Veterans in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
