Sharon Ann Colvin, 78, of Sedalia, MO, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at her home. She was born on December 30, 1946, in Sedalia, the daughter of Lloyd F. Reed and Adella Mae (Smith) Reed, who preceded her in death.
On April 13, 1968, in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to William Clifford Colvin, who preceded her in death on February 19, 1994.
Sharon loved her family and friends deeply and cherished gathering in her home for meals, holidays, and special celebrations. She devoted much of her life to caring for the elderly and the sick. Sharon worked as a CNA at Bothwell Regional Health Center and Fair View Nursing Home, both in Sedalia, and spent 26 years providing compassionate in-home health care.
She enjoyed traveling, country music, visiting with loved ones, and especially looked forward to trips to Branson, MO, and her annual visits to the Missouri State Fair. Sharon was known for her kindness, loyalty, and the heartfelt way she supported and encouraged others. She was a dedicated mother, sister, and friend to many.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Pamela Ann Reynolds (Gary) of Sedalia; her sister, Mona Phillips of Blue Springs, MO; her special friend and caregiver, Christina Rogers; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, including her special nieces Chelsea Petree (Hunter), Cassie Sanders, and Christie Petree.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Rob Ayers officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
A private burial will be held at a later date at Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery, Sedalia.
Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
