Sharon Painter

Sharon Ann Painter, 70, of Sedalia passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was born on May 31, 1943 in Biloxi, MS a daughter of the late, Harold and Ruth (Gottschalk) Painter.

She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church, Sedalia where she was baptized in 1949. Sharon was also a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Business and Professional Women’s Club. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, card making and listening to her music.

She is survived by one sister, Donna Margerum and her husband Michael of Reno, NV; a niece, Liz Margerum of Reno, NV; one sister-in-law, Rose Painter of Sedalia; a niece, Sherry Jo Painter-Torres and her husband Henry and their son, Phoenix, all of Sedalia.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Nelson Painter.

Funeral service will be held at 3:30 pm, Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

Family will receive friends from 2:00 pm, until service time at the chapel.

Burial will be at Dresden Cemetery, Dresden, MO.
