Sharon Yonce

Sharon Ann Yonce, 76, of Sedalia passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at her home in Sedalia. She was born on July 19, 1939 in Montgomery City, MO a daughter of J.W. and Freida (Henry) Askey, who preceded her in death.

On May 24, 1957, in Sedalia she was united in marriage to Larry Yonce, who preceded her in death on July 31, 1980.

Sharon loved her flower gardens and her dog, Mr. McGoo. She was a member of East Sedalia Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter Lory Hill of Sedalia, two sisters, Carol Monsess (Philip) of Smithton and Melissa Marksberry of Iona, MO; 9 grandchildren, Tiffany, Jessi, Steven, Ginny, Josh, Zach, Tuesday, Shanae, Kierra; 12 great grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Nieman, and a son Rick Yonce.

Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2016 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jim Vest officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
