Sherri Lee Brosch

Sherri Lee Brosch, 82, of Spring, Texas, formerly of Sedalia, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital in Woodlands, Texas. She was born on August 9, 1943, in Geddes, South Dakota, the daughter of Urban and Lillian (Mazourek) Greenfield, who preceded her in death.

On December 27, 1977, in Sedalia, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Jerry Edward Brosch, who preceded her in death on March 7, 2025.

Sherri was born and raised in Geddes, South Dakota. She was previously married to Jim Henthorne, and together they were blessed with four children. She raised her family in Rapid City, South Dakota, before later moving to Sedalia, Missouri, where she continued to build a fulfilling life and career.

A woman of deep faith, Sherri was a lifelong Christian and member of the Methodist Church. She possessed a remarkable talent for cooking and began her culinary journey at just 11 years old. Early in life she began working in a restaurant kitchen. Through hard work, determination, and skill, she eventually became the owner of that same restaurant in Rapid City the Parkway Cafe. Later, she and her husband Jerry co-owned and operated Beverly's Restaurant and The Honey Hole Pro Shop in Sedalia, alongside her brother-in-law, Allen.

Sherri's love for the culinary arts continued throughout her life. She served as a kitchen manager at Brooking Park and shared her passion through cooking show videos, delighting others with her creativity and warmth. Beyond the kitchen, Sherri enjoyed painting, ceramics, and canning-hobbies that reflected her vibrant spirit and love for creating beauty in everyday life.

Sherri is survived by her four children: Jeffrey Henthorne of Spring, TX; Jodi Davis (Terry) of Gardnerville, NV; Jacalyn Henthorne (Sharon) of Spring, TX; and Michele Henthorne of Spring, TX; along with 7 grandchildren, 6 great grand children nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who cherished her deeply.

In addition to her husband and parents, Sherri was preceded in death by her sister , Lois Martinec

A graveside service and burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia, Missouri, on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Brosch, Allison Brosch, Scott Rambo, Wyatt Brosch, and Jeremy Poort.

Memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Sherri.

Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, Missouri.
