Teresa L. Dove

Teresa L. Dove, 60, of Sedalia passed away on September 29, 2026, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center in Sedalia, MO. She was born on September 28, 1966 in Sweet Springs, MO the daughter of Robert (Bill) Walbourn and Mary Shackles, who resides of the home.

Teresa graduated from Green Ridge High School in 1984. Known for her strong work ethic, she held multiple industrial jobs throughout her life, with MoDOT being her most recent employer. Her family meant everything to her, with a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. Teresa had a deep love for animals, especially her dogs and cats. She took great pride in her flower beds and enjoyed tending to them. Teresa was an avid collector, with antiques, rocks, and buttons being her favorites among her many treasures.

Besides her mother, Teresa is survived by one daughter, Chelsie Castillo (Ventura) of Green Ridge, MO; one son, Aaron Dove, of Marshfield, MO; three grandchildren, Hudson Dove, Isaac Castillo, and Mariella Castillo; three sisters, Stacy Ellison (Rusty) of Sedalia, MO, Sabrina Ridpath (Rob) of Syracuse, MO, and Dody Millard (Darren) of Sedalia, MO; as well as 7 nieces and nephews, serveral cousins, and friends.

Besides her father, Teresa is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Irene Pauley.

A private burial will be held by the family at a later date.
