Obituary For Thomas Byron Hulse

Thomas Byron Hulse, 80, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022, at EW Thompson Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sedalia. On December 28, 1941, he was born in Roanoke, MO, the son of Harry Hulse and Mary Lousie (Duncan) Hulse, who preceded him in death.

On December 20, 1968, in Springfield, MO, he was united in marriage to Linda Gail Andrus, who resides in the home.

Tom was a 1959 graduate of Lee's Summit High School. After graduation, Tom attended and graduated from a trade school in the Kansas City area, where he learned his sheet metal and heating and cooling trade. After retaining several years of work knowledge and experience in his profession, Tom opened and operated Tom's Heating and Cooling in Versailles and Sedalia until his retirement.

Tom enjoyed working on his farm, singing with his church choir, playing golf, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Along with his wife, Tom is survived by a daughter, Jenie Bruce (Terry) of Sedalia; a son, Tom Bryce Hulse (Angela) of Versailles, MO; five grandchildren, Andrew Bruce (Anna Katherine), Abby Bruce, Macy Hulse, Collin Hulse, and James Hulse;a step-grandson Corey Bruce (Emily); a great-grandson, Lane Thomas Bruce, expected in October; three step-great grandchildren Bailey, Jackson and Eli; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by two sisters, Mona Hulse and Peggy Spooner.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Rea Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Don Satterwhite officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
