Thomas Curtis

Thomas William Curtis, 53, of Sedalia passed away Saturday September 5, 2015 at his home in Sedalia, Missouri. He was born on December 11, 1961 in Sedalia, Missouri the son of Robert Lee Curtis and Theda Jo Balch, who preceded him in death. On January 1, 1997 in Sedalia he was united in marriage to Nicole Leanne Smith, who survives of the home. Tom enjoyed hunting fishing, going camping and working on cars. He loved to make people laugh and especially loved spending time with his friends and family. He worked Nordine Furnace Manufacturing in Boonville, MO. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Kody Eric Curtis of Marshall, MO, Kyle William Curtis of Marshall and Dakota Preston Downs and his wife Angela of Marshall; two daughters Theda Nicole Curtis of Sedalia and Fantacee Renee Curtis of Sedalia; a sister, Joy Elaine Rank of Sedalia and a brother James Leon Curtis of Sedalia; Six grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Lee Sisneros; a niece, Toni Elizabeth Rank. A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Jim Wells officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
