Thomas Leonard Lee

Thomas Leonard Lee, 54, of Sedalia, MO, passed away peacefully on the evening of August 2, 2025, at his home, surrounded by loved ones and family.

Known as "T Mack," he was born on October 21, 1970, in Chicago, IL, to Leonard and Eloise Ann Lee, both of whom preceded him in death.

Thomas is survived by his son, Markevious Boales; three daughters, Kymillia Clemons, Angelina Crosby, and Shalanda Lee; a sister, Latrice Alexander; and his life partner, Rachel Skutnick, along with her adopted son, Andrew Skutnick, who called Thomas dad.

He will be remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephews, as well as the close friends he considered family.

Thomas cherished the simplicity of life and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He found great joy in teaching and being with Andrew, embracing his role as a father figure in Andrew's life and relishing the opportunity to participate in all of his life experiences.

A lover of music and water sports, Thomas was also an exceptional cook. He delighted in hosting barbecues for his chosen family, always ensuring that no one went hungry. He had the gift of gab and could easily engage others in conversation.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life benefit dinner will be held by Kay Jones, Prime Fules, Charlie P., and his wife on August 24, 2025, at 216 W. Broadway, Sedalia, MO. All proceeds will go toward his funeral expenses.
