Tonny Lee Curry

Tonny Lee Curry, 63, of Pilot Grove, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

He was born on July 29, 1963, in Sedalia, Missouri, the son of Donald Sterling Curry and Lucille Ann (Lutjen) Curry, both of whom preceded him in death.

Tonny was united in marriage to Joyce E. Siegel in Syracuse, Missouri, and she survives of the home.

Born and raised in Sedalia, Tonny attended Washington Elementary School and Smith-Cotton High School. He had a lifelong love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and coon hunting. An avid outdoorsman, Tonny found great pleasure in spending time in nature, whether casting a fishing line or heading out on a coon hunt.

Above all, Tonny treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He held a special place in his heart for them and enjoyed the moments they shared together. His love for family and the memories made with those closest to him will be fondly remembered and deeply cherished.

In addition to his wife, Joyce, survivors include two stepsons, Troy Humphrey of Pilot Grove, MO, and Tyler Humphrey of Versailles, MO; a brother, Lovell Curry and his wife, Pam, of Houstonia, MO; three nephews, Art Thompson of Freeburg, MO, Grant Thompson of Otterville, MO, and Jimmie Curry of Sedalia, MO; and numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tonny was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Curry; a sister, Donna Thompson; and a nephew, Billy Thompson.

A celebration of Tonny's life will be held at a later date, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather, share memories, and honor the life he lived.

Arrangements for the gathering will be announced by the family.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
