Tony Perry Renfro

January 15, 1958 — April 11, 2026

Tony Perry Renfro, 68, of Sedalia, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at his home. He was born on January 15, 1958, in Redding, California, the son of Junior Leon Renfro and Ana Laureen (Myrick) Renfro, who both preceded him in death.

Tony honorably served his country in the United States Navy from 1975 until 1980. When Tony was 14 years old, he lived in Montana with a family friend, Jim Crabtree. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, flying helicopters, caring for his animals, and traveling, especially to the state of Montana. Tony was known for his ornery nature, his kind heart, and his willingness to help anyone in need.

Tony is survived by his soulmate and companion, Crystal Dysart of the home; a son, Gordon Renfro of Chattahoochee, Florida; a brother, Terry Renfro (Rita) of Lincoln, Missouri; a half-brother, Tom Renfro (Cindy) of Warsaw, Missouri; two half-sisters, Tamara Wilson (Jeffrey Wahlmann) of Independence, Missouri, and Theresa Ciancio of Kansas; his best friend, Martin Crabtree; and many nieces and nephews, including Steven (Jennifer) and their children, and Dustin Renfro.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by a half-brother, Travis Brown; and his maternal grandparents, Perry and Ana Myrick.

A celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date.

Burial will be at a later date in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri. Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Navy and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
