Troy Linn Scott

Troy Linn Scott, 61, of Edwards, MO, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Lee's Summit Medical Center, Lee's Summit, MO. He was born on October 11, 1961, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Gaylord E. Scott and Ryle (Wischmeier) Scott, who preceded him in death.

Troy was a 1980 graduate of Hickman Mills High School. After graduation, he moved to Fort Scott, KS, to play college baseball. After his college career, he moved to Wichita, KS, and lived there for 36 years before fulfilling his dream to live on the lake of the Ozarks in Edwards, MO. Troy was a little league football coach for over 20 years. Troy was an avid Chiefs, Mizzou, and Royals fan. The only thing Troy loved as much as his family was the Lake of the Ozarks. It was his life's dream to live on the lake, you could always find him behind the wheel of the boat with a tuber in tow.

Survivors include his significant other, Andra Charboneau; two children, Kale Scott (Leah) and Holly Scott; a sister, Shawn Ismert (Bill); five grandchildren, Jeremy Foster, Jordynn Foster, Kohen Scott, Collins Scott, and Bishop Scott.

In addition to his parents, Troy was preceded in death by two brothers, Greg and Mark Scott.

A burial of ashes will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2023, at Salt Fork Cemetery, Blackwater, MO.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Wichita, KS. An update will be posted when services are scheduled.
