Troy Thomas Baker

Troy Thomas Baker, 49, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022, at his home. He was born on December 26, 1972, in Sedalia, the son of John David Baker and Susan Kathleen (Gross) Baker, who resides in Sedalia.

On November 3, 2017, in Kansas City, MO, he was united in marriage to Agnieszka (Aagje) Maria Lucassen-Baker, who survives of the home.

Troy enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching football, grilling, and was a classic car enthusiast.

Along with his wife and parents, Troy is survived by a sister, Marcia J. Baker-Cowan of Sedalia; a brother, John D. Baker II; a daughter, Gabi N. Baker of Slater, MO; two granddaughters, Dakota and Spencer; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Thomas V. and Joyce E. (Wilcox) Gross; paternal grandparents, John W. and Freda (Shields) Baker; and three cousins Jeffrey Baker, David Baker, and Sandy Baker-Madden.

A celebration of life gathering for family and friends will be announced at a later date.
