Vickie L. Shackles, 70, of Sedalia, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026, at her home. She was born January 25, 1956, in Sedalia, Missouri, the daughter of William Clifford Colvin and Dorothy Mae (Cannady) Rogers, who preceded her in death.

On August 13, 1974, in Sedalia, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Ricky Shackles. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2023.

Vickie enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time outdoors, tending to her flower gardens, and loving her fur babies. She treasured time spent with her family during special occasions and holidays, and those moments meant the world to her.

She is survived by a son, Richard Shackles of Sedalia; a daughter, Faith Marie McHenry of Zanesville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Ricky Shackles and Dalton McHenry; two sisters, Becky Harris and Kimberly Walters, both of Sedalia; a brother, Ronnie Rogers (Brandy) of Liberty, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her stepfather, Walter Rogers.

There will be no formal services held.
