Wanda Lou Walton, 73, formerly of Windsor, Missouri, passed away at her home on June 19, 2026, in Republic, Missouri. She was born on September 19, 1952, in Windsor, Missouri the daughter of Jewell Mullins and Wanda Taggart, who preceded her in death.
On January 26, 1980, in Clinton, MO, she was united in marriage to Jimmie L Walton, who preceded her in death on April 17, 2017.
Wanda graduated from Lincoln High School in Lincoln, MO. She had a passion for the outdoors, especially mowing with her Exmark. Wanda enjoyed caring for her chickens, gardening, and tending to her beautiful flowers, but above all, she cherished her grandchildren. Every day began the same way for her - with a Pepsi.
Wanda is survived by two sons, Nick Walton of Windsor, MO, and Frank Walton of Windsor, MO; a daughter, Alisha Ramirez (Enrique) of Republic; ten grandchildren, Enrique "Little Ricky", Brooklyn, Gabriela, Julie, Bella, Paislee, EmmaLou, Madelyn, Javier, and Ellie; three brothers, Mike Mullins, Dennis Mullins and Jewell Mullins; three sisters, Janet Yankee, Robin McFadden, and Margaret Mullins.
Besides her husband and parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her two brothers, Jim Mullins and Jerry Joe Mullins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, June 25th, 2026 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
The burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in, Higginsville, MO.
Pallbearers will be Frank Walton, Nick Walton, Enrique Ramirez D., Enrique Ramirez, Mike Mullins.
Honorary bearers will be her grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
In true Wanda fashion, the family requests everyone wear their brightest and most colorful clothing to the service in honor of her.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
