Wayne Andrew Gravitt

Wayne Andrew Gravitt, 26, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022, in Sedalia. He was born on December 2, 1995, in Sedalia a son of Samuel I. Gravitt Jr. and Vicki L. (Smith) Gravitt, who reside in Sedalia.

Wayne enjoyed listening to music, drawing art, working with electronics, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He especially loved his children and spending time with his family and friends. Wayne was a people person and could put a smile on everyone's face with his sense of humor. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Along with his parents, Wayne is survived by a son, Brayson Sleeper of Sedalia; a daughter, Salem Stout of Iowa; his girlfriend, Morgan Stout of Iowa; two brothers, William Bolds (Misty) of Sedalia, Samuel Gravitt, III, of Sedalia; three sisters, Angela Scroggins (Eddie) of Warrensburg, Samantha Gravitt of Sedalia, Latonya M. Francis of South Carolina; paternal grandmother, Rosa Gravitt of Sedalia; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Wayne was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William M. and Alice L. Smith; his paternal grandfather, Samuel I. Gravitt, Sr.; two cousins, KiKi Cline and Chalon Gravitt; and an uncle William Fletcher Gravitt.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Javion Jones and Pastor Noah Poole officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Honorary bearers will be all of Wayne's cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Autism Association in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
