Wilma Jean Wallen, 81, of Sedalia, Missouri, passed away on September 22, 2026, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was born on November 30, 1944, in Windsor, Missouri, the daughter of Wilmer Foch and Ila Marie Duncan, who preceded her in death.

On April 17, 1964, at the Assembly of God Church in Windsor, MO, she was united in marriage to Kyle Wallen, who resides in the home.

Wilma Jean graduated from Windsor High School in 1962. She found great joy in her faith, cherishing her time spent in church and in prayer. She was a devoted member of Living Waters Assembly of God and found inspiration through watching the Victory Channel. Wilma Jean enjoyed experimenting with new recipes and sharing meals with loved ones. Throughout her life, she worked as a house cleaner, at the shoe factory in Sedalia, and dedicated 15 years to Wal-Mart before retiring. While sports held little interest for her, she adored animals, especially cats and dogs, and was always eager to help others in any way she could.

Wilma Jean is survived by her husband of 62 years, Kyle Wallen, her daughter, Kristy Hutchings, and her husband, Richard, of Independence, Missouri, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Besides her parents, Wilma Jean is preceded in death by a sister, Betty Marie Kelly.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO.

A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, Missouri, with pastor Ancel Compton officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sedalia Animal Shelter or the Living Waters Assembly of God, in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
